Do you think the Data Privacy Act of 2012 does not violate our freedom of speech and freedom of expression?

The law enumerates rights familiar with the principles of notification, choice, access, data accuracy and integrity for privacy professionals. It appears that the Philippines law includes a right “to be forgot” in the form of a right to erase or block the data subject’s personal data can be deleted from the data controller’s filing system. Particularly, the law gives for an inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully collected or unauthorized use of personal data to provide a private right of action. The Data Protection Act of 2012 is not an violation of our freedom of expression and speech because it can prevent privacy from being breached by considering the costs of protecting and properly gathering data from all of our data sites.
